Yan Yan Gurt West is a regenerative sheep farm nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Otway Ranges. Our family has been caretaking this property for 5 generations. There has been a strong ethos of stewardship for the natural landscape, its flora and fauna, creating a system that will be robust in the face of climate change.

Over the last 20 years we have planted more than 55,000 trees and shrubs. Creating an ecosystem that fosters a web of wildlife corridors, shelter and shade for our stock and sustainable high quality timber production that beautifies our property. We have established a food forest of native flowers and bush foods. An earthen cob cottage has been built on the property, a creative example of combined methods in natural, sustainable building techniques. Our passion is to produce ethical, sustainable free-range lamb, high quality timber and native flowers while enhancing the natural environment.

Farm Activities:

$50/person (Min. 4 people) , $25/students (13-18) (Min. 20 students), Children under 13 are free
